Why are my "friends" assholes?

I've been going through a phase of my life where I feel an emptiness after losing a long term relationship and have nothing to do but school and work and I want to get out and have fun with my friends but they're always assholes to me. Some don't answer when I text to hang out, and two of them always cancel on me like an hour before we're supposed to do something that night even when they're the ones that arranged the hang out! (which is a rare as hell occasion for these people) I've been stood up about 3 times in the past 3 weeks, mostly with the oldest excuse ever, "I'm sick". Like today, one of them said she was sick, then said she could go and she would text me, and never did. I have only one friend that always answers and asks to hang out. One of my friends says she has to "hang out with her mom"...we are all 20 years old and up. Why do they suck? We all have fun when we do actually get to hang out, is it like a disorder or something, wtf?

33 weeks pregnant with a little blood?

I was using the bathroom and when I was wiping there was some red blood. Not a whole lot just a little. I wiped about 3 times till it stopped. But like I said it wasn't a lot. Just a little. Like red smears (sorry tmi) But it wasn't brown or pink it was red. Has his happens to anyone? Or does anyone know what could be wrong or what I should do? Couple new puppy questions.?

Im not sure what to do about her being cold outside maybe buy her a jacket or maybe she's just scared being outside. Try to bribe her to go outside with treats she's probably just scared.... its a big world. At night all puppies are gonna cry at night in their crates but they'll eventually get used to it but putting your sweatshirt in wont hurt. She'll eventually get used to the crate and might sometimes go in there by herself because she knows it a comfortable place.

Receiving blankets - what is a good size to make?

So my husband & I have a 10 month old boy who is the light of our lives! Our plan is to try for another baby in 6 months so when he/she is born our son will be 2. Also I'm a teacher so the summer off would allow more time with the new baby. Currently our financial situation is very tight...however I am hoping to take a full day teaching position in august(=double my income) & my husband is hoping for a promotion around the same time (=double income as well). My problem is last night we had sex & towards the end did not use a condom & I'm not on birth control. If we got pregnant we would not in any way be upset...but we are not ready. Why am I so annoyed by this?

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and my friend wants to get pregnant too. This annoys me. Keep in mind that were freshman in hs and she's 15 and i'm going to be 15 soon. How can I train my ferrets to behave?

I have two ferrets, my oldest is probably going on 2 years, and my youngest is barely a year old. Me and my Fiance just bought a brand new couch, its pretty nice.. its almost a leather-like material.. bad idea I know.. my ferrets are trying to eat it! This has been a nightmare. Alright, Hi all :) Please I need deep advice and help. Before you ask me, yes I do see a psychiatrist and a doctor monthly. So my real name is diana, people call me dee. I am a mother of 3 healthy daughters. I am 43 years old this year. So this is the story of my sad dull life. When I was younger I came from a middle class pretty poor family. So, when I turned 19 I was a part time model for awhile. When I turned 21, I was being arranged family with my husband, who came from a very rich family. Honestly, I was never in love with my husband, although he was filthy rich,handsome and all. But sooner or later I had to deal with loving him. My husband is the only son and heir to his family or what not, as he has 5 other sisters. So, my mother in-law before marriage, told me that I MUST provide my husbands family with at least one healthy son. So a year after marriage I feel pregnant at the age of 22, with my first child. I successfully gave birth to my dear healthy daughter in late 1990. Than a year later I gave birth to another healthy daughter in early 1992. When my mother in law found out that I had gave birth to both my daughters she was sarcastic and angry. :( What kind of mother in-law would be so wicked to her own granddaughters. Till today, she hates my two daughters and treats them differently from the other grandchildren of hers. So, in early 1993, I feel pregnant for the third time, this is when hell started for my life. I had my first miscarriage on that year, just after 3 months of pregnancy. The same year, in late 1993, I was pregnant yet another time, but only for 5 weeks. I was so saddened by it. My husband was so furious. So, the whole family on my husbands side was pressuring me to provide a "direct" male son to the family. So, I kept and kept trying and in late 1994, I fell pregnant for the 5th time. I thought that the pregnancy would have gone smoothly but when I was 6months pregnant,I had labour pains,and went through labour and delivered a still born-son. My husband was so furious and mad at me,that since 1994,he had beaten me and called me a "cursed devil", as I failed to give a son for the 5th time. So, I kept and kept and kept trying and in january 1997, I did not give birth to a healthy son, but a healthy daughter. My husband was indeed more furious as I only gave him 3 daughters, and no sons. So I kept and kept trying and thought of giving up hope,but in december 1999,I fell pregnant yet again for the 7th time, and it only made it through 3 months. So, in 2000, I went to see a doctor and the doctor said everything about my womb and all, are normal. Than I went to see another 3 doctors in the same year, and they said I was normal. In september 2001, for the eight time I fell pregnant yet another time, but only for less than a month. In august 2002 I had a miscarriage. And in 2003,2004,2006,2008,2010 I had each a miscarriage in those years. I am currently pregnant now in 2011, and this has been the longest pregnancy ever since , I am still carrying my child,I am currently 7 months, please pray for me. I am in deep depression :(

Honestly not to get all religious on you but you need to pray to the lord for help. Only he can help you get through this. He will not give you more than you can handle. This is a test to make you stronger and you need to ask the lord for help so he recognizes that you need him and he will allow you to see you can do it and he will help. Just pray. That's all i have to say. Hes listening but thing will happen at his time not yours. but he is listening and will help.

Better to be big or small at the end pregnancy?

I know that whether the mom has a big or small bump means very little about the baby, but I'm just curious. At 38 weeks when I gave birth, I was pretty small still, but my sister in law is only at 30 weeks and HUGE and keeps rubbing it in my face. Do you think there is anything to her bragging that she is so big, bigger than I was when I gave birth? I'm curious what other women who were pretty big think.

Ok so I have a fiancee' he is 34 years of age from the city of detroit and I am a 24 years of age from the country I would basically say. We have a different way of living and we are like opposites. AND THEN, i found them sending emails back and forth. hers wernt very personal, just general. his were more pathetic, like "i was just talking about you today,...why havnt' you responded back yet? ..." THEN when i confronted him about this, he lied, but since i had already figured he would lie, i had printed out my proof, so he said "ok, i swear i dont have feelings for her, i love you, i want to marry you, you are the girl for me, i wont talk to her anymore" literally 2 days later, i found a msg. from her, replying to him. he deleted the msg. he sent her so i couldnt find it, but i found her reply before he did, hence busting him. of course he lied about this w/ the most convoluted excuse ive ever heard. it was "my friend has my facebook login info saved on his computer, he must of got on my profile and been sending her the msgs." this didnt register w/ me, so then i finally found out, yea that was a lie, even though he still wont admit it. and then i found out from one of his friends that he gets "giddy" when his ex's name comes up, and this friend said he loves her, always has, and always will. SOOO what do I do? I've confronted him, he swears i'm the one for him, he loves me, he wants to marry me, yet why don't i feel like he is truly w/ me, 100%? I feel like i gotta constantly worry he is going to cheat on me, (even though as far as i know he hasnt done) or leave me if this ex wants him back at some point.I contacted her, she said they dont like each other in that way, etc. yet she doesnt really know what hes been doing, acting like, saying. so i know he is in love w/ her still (or so i think), but she claims she doesnt want him. im sick of being lied to, i dont know what to believe. How much money should I spend at this anime convention?

Do you think that lysol would be an effective way to kill bacteria on carpet?

No... Lysol is just a temporary cover up just like febreeze is... If the carpet is light colored use coptic bleach with water LIGHTLY and it will kill ANY germs.. That's why restraunts use a lot of bleach even to wash the cups and stuff...the smell of bleach goes away in about 2 hours or less.. All you do is spray the bleach LIGHTLY and then soak it up with water... It works great

How do I get my life together?

Almost divorce. I have a 5 year old son and i'm doing my best to be there for him. I live far away from my family so i have no family support so it is just me supporting myself. A minority in an all white community and no friends. Got laid off from my job and baby moma takes advantage of me using my son all the time. I'm just a single father that is trying to make a better life for myself but don't know where to start. I'm painfully self conscious about my body?

Hi... well I'm 18 and I'm dreading summer again. I'm ridiculously self conscious about my body - I don't hate it, but just the idea of showing it or other people looking at it fills me with absolute dread and I feel like I want to be sick. The thing is, I'm very very slim, like the biggest my waist ever gets is 24 inches, its usually around 23/23.5, narrow hips, and I do quite a lot of exercise, my legs are nice, my friends and family always say I've got a lovely figure but I just have this debilitating fear around it. Most of it is because I don't have a flat stomach - I mean its not huge and it looks pretty flat under clothing but it isn't. I've always had this, well the best word to describe it is phobia of it. I feel like I can never wear a bikini or anything like that because it's not perfect. Even in normal clothes I keep my jacket on because I don't want anyone catching a glimpse of it, and sitting down I arrange my clothing in such a way so that you can't. It's not that I hate it, I don't!! But everyone says I'm so slender so if I let them see my body they'd realise I'm not perfect - I know it is shallow but I've always been 'the skinny one' so I'm scared of letting anyone realise that not every body part is perfect-looking. I don't even let my mum see, even though she's always trying to get me to show myself off more, because I feel like even she would judge me. Everyone always says how gorgeous she was when she was younger. I don't like eating junk food because I don't want my stomach to get bigger and put on weight. Should i quit drinking or not?

So i love drinking. I love the taste of tequila, getting drunk, hitting on girls when i'm drunk, drunk sex. being stupid, and just about all of the other things that are involved with it. I try to be responsible about it. I don't drink around my daughter, it doesn't affect my career, and it doesn't cause me financial or legal hardships. For some reason though i'm thinking it's time to quit drinking. A lot of the "friends" that i have now are in fact drinking buddies, therefore I don't think that they would be a reliable source of guidance when it comes to this particular matter. I'm a single dad, and looking to maybe settle down a bit. I may have found someone, but she doesn't do that anymore. Do I quit, keep going, cut back, maybe take a break? I'm really looking to make some positive changes in my life. Can anyone give me some advice? Anyone at all.

okay, I heard of this happening some time ago on the news. It was about this one guy, and this nerd. Why do some parents here seem to believe that it would be fine to treat your kid like an indentured servant?

I saw your earlier question and while I didn't answer I was surprised at some of the answers as well. In my opinion a teenager should be responsible for themselves, meaning they clean their own dishes and put them in the dishwasher, clean up after themselves in the bathroom, take care of their own laundry and putting clothes away, etc. I don't disagree with other parents when they make their children do chores around the house for nothing but I would never do such a thing. At the very least a child should get a weekly allowance to help teach them the value of money and budgeting for something big if they want it. It should never be automatically assumed that a sibling will babysit for their little brother or sister - they didn't create the kid after all and it's the parents responsibility. Part of being a family is working together as a team but the amount of responsibility placed on your shoulders is extreme for any teenager and you definitely warrant being paid for your responsibilities - how else are you going to save some money so that you can get a good start as an adult? I also am one of those parents who believe that you are responsible for your children's education through at least a bachelor's degree. My kid isn't going to be forced out of my house at 18 to wing it on her own - she'll live with me as long as she wants as long as she is going to school or working to better herself and she won't pay a dime of tuition. I just don't understand some parents who suddenly think they don't have responsibilities after their child turns 18 and for anyone to suggest a minor pay rent or buy their own food - well that's just ridiculous and I hope they don't have children.

So my mom gets pissed of at me because when she yells at me, I don't yell back regardless of what she is saying, I don't get pissed I try to stay calm and figure things out. It it bad that I'm at total peace about not giving my baby any vaccines?

I believe that the combinations of vaccines can have adverse reactions and that it is a greater risk for my child if I vaccinate her, then if I do not. I do believe the huge rise in the autism numbers is linked to the thermosel (mercury) that is found many vaccines. I would like to see an objective study that could prove the contrary. It is unbelievable to me that even if my child gets the vaccine, that I could put her at risk it my wife and I don't get the vaccine. Insanity. Also, why would we assume that all children will respond in the same way to 30+ recommended vaccines that have never been studied in combination with each other. Can an infant/ toddler handle all of this? Sure, maybe some, but all? There is no guarantee and if I can't know that my baby is 100 percent safe, I will not risk it. You can say that the polio vaccine is a major victory, but in large part the numbers overseas were declining without the vaccine.

I am currently an 18 year old high schooler, I'm 5'4 and 115 pounds, I have a baby face, no real facial hair, long brown mop hair, and have never hooked up with anyone because I look so young. Getting my 4mo baby to take a bottle?

I have been breastfeeding my daughter since the day she was born. We used to try & give her a bottle but we stopped trying for the fear of nipple confusion and engorgement. I hated skipping feedings because it hurt my chest. Now, I am having troubles with back and shoulder pain.. I went to see my Dr. and he said I have alot of muscle spasum in my shoulders and back.. And feeding my DD all the time is making this pain much worse.. I would love to have her take a bottle sometimes until I can get this pain under control, but she just dosn't want anything to do with it.. I was thinking of trying out the 'breastflow' bottle.. But i'd hate to buy such an expensive bottle for it to never be used... I'm stuck and not sure what to do... Since our son was born he never really spent any time with him, he would change diapers and do things like that if i twisted his arm but would never play with him or attempt to bond with him. I think the longest he has ever played with him was 5 minutes. He was not involved with my pregnancy at all. He would never rub my back or try to help me out, showed no sympathy when i was in pain, having contractions, or puking my guts up. I actually went into early labor and as i was yelling for him to help me he ignored me thank god someone else was home to take me to the hospital. He did however come for his birth cut the cord and spent the next few days in the hospital with me and our son. My question is I guess is im 6 months pregnant with our daughter and i want him to be more involved this time around during the remainder of my pregnancy and after she is born but i dont know how to do that. I have tried to sit down and talk to him i dont know how many times about it but he just doesn't want to talk to me, I also want him to be more involved in his sons life and less involved with his friends and video games. I see a lot of other couples and see the relationships they have and the way other fathers interact with their children and I just want my husband to have a good relationship with his kids. And since i have been pregnant i have not wanted to have sex and it has been very painful and the other night my husband said that he thinks of my more as a friend then a wife because im not doing the things a wife should. Like cook and clean and have sex with him. I love him to death but i really need some help here. I have the stress of this whole CPS thing, my pregnancy and trying to stay healthy with all the stress and depression i have and now i have all of this on top of that. What should I do? She changed her cell number on me (she told me after she did it), deleted and then later on blocked me on Facebook, sent me back a "Return to Sender" snailmail letter. Is going to another school next year a good idea?

ok this might sound silly but i have the option to go to another public school next year for free (i go to a public school already). but at my current school i don't talk to anyone, i don't really have a lot of friends and im with the same people i have known forever. i really want to go to a new school and meet new kids because the new kids i meet don't know me or anything about me. my parents said i cant run away from my problems but i don't see the big deal, do you? the main thing is is that i might make varsity swimming next year (as a sophmore) but i dont want to be a jock wearing a jacket and having no friends or a social life =/ . becuase in the movies the jocks are the cool kids but i can't be one in my current school.

It's not neccessary, your young and you should be fine (it's only when there's a history of fertility problems in the family that you should worry) Just get to know your cycles and when you ovulate and try around your fertile time and you should be on your way. It can take 6mths to a year for healthy couples to conceive so just enjoy your time together and try at the right time and it will happen when your body is ready. Good luck :)

Ok so I have a fiancee' he is 34 years of age from the city of detroit and I am a 24 years of age from the country I would basically say. We have a different way of living and we are like opposites. Heart palpitations with caffeine, alcohol, and around my period?

My heart has been racing/skipping since about 9th grade. (I'm 23 right now.) We decided before that it was due to caffeine/too much sugar intake, so I stopped drinking caffeine and stopped eating excessive amounts of sugar. My heart would still occasionally skip beats, which doesn't bother me half as much as when it races. I started drinking after graduating high school and I had that time where I partied for like 6 months straight. I only noticed a couple times that it caused my heart to race. It always corrects itself with in 30 seconds-2 minutes. I had a baby 18 months ago and while I was pregnant, it seemed like my palpitations were better, rather then worse. I pretty much stopped drinking, except around special occasions or the odd time that my boyfriend wants to drink a bit. I drank with my friends whom I haven't seen altogether in 4 years on New Years Eve and the following day, my boyfriend and I were fighting, I was crying hysterically and really hung over, and my heart starting racing really fast, except this time I felt extremely dizzy, and it lasted probably 4 minutes. I went to the dr. about 2 weeks ago and they did blood work and did an EKG and said everything was normal. How is everything normal? I'm supposed to start my period any time now and both today and yesterday after exercising, sitting down for a minute, then running up the stairs to get something, my heart started racing. Both times probably 30 second episodes, but I still hate it. Should I go back to the doctor? What causes this around my period? I hate it. :( I feel like one day it's not going to be able to get it's rhythm back and kill me.
