Would i loose my green card if i get divorced?

ok i married this girl and we were in love, so i got the green card in the mail then after a year now she likes some one else and she wants to marry some one else, so we wanna divorce but i am afraid to loose the green card cus she divorced me and would have to go back to my country, its not fair, i love the usa and i wanna have the green card and stay here and live my life !! we only married for 2 years got my geen card but now everything is getting complicated? would i loose it and what can i do? thanks !!
