When will Earth make contact with Intelligent Civilizations?

When will the Human Civilization make contact with intelligent life specifically from the Mikey Way Galaxy. I know the statistics through the Drake equation but still with the distance a delay with light interstellar communication and issues that we are using one broadcast compared to multiple frequencies such as laser or x-ray to make contact which Micho Kaku stated.. However, we only use the radio frequency and still no contact but im sure with the likelihood of their being around 100,000 civilizations or more on our scale of intelligence or beyond we should make contact. However it wont be any time soon or is it? What are the chances within the next 500 years in which we will make contact with other civilizations even if its not physical contact and just a signal or even physical contact if we are lucky in our Galaxy alone which can contain around 400 billion stars or more. Also please i understand we can make contact tomorrow but I know how unlikely that can be. However I am asking 500 years because i am sure our technology will be much more advanced than now tenfold to pick up incoming signals, Also, I am basically asking are the chances more probable in the 500 year span due to our further understanding of the universe and advancement in technology assuming we dont blow ourselves up and please dont say we can be dead by war in 500 years even though I know its a possibility, assumed it does not happen i would like to know the possibilities. Also, is it possible they are sending out messages, could they be on a different signal or we are to not advanced to pick it up if they are not a type 1,2 or 3 civilization yet but more advanced to use another signal.
